Goliath's Story...
This is our handsome boy Goliath!!

He is about 2 years young, and American Staffordshire mix.

Goliath stole our hearts, he was living in the shelter for over 2 months and his big brown eyes were so sad.

He is a happy boy now that he is rescued and safe!

Goliath is wonderful with ALL dogs big & small.

He is certainly a gentle giant, and seriously a LAP DOG :-)

The only things is doesn't like is to be crated and left alone and this is pretty typical of a poor dog that has lived a shelter life :-(

Goliath is wonderful on his leash and he is learning sit very quickly, we are proud of him.

This gentle boy would certainly bless any loving family that deserves him.

If you are interested in meeting our Goliath please fill out our adoption application located on our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goliath, a San Diego American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
