What's up? My name is Crook. Yup, you heard that right - Crook. You see, the thing is, I have a tendency to steal. Hearts, that is. I make it a point to steal the heart of every person that I come across, so I've got quite a stock pile of them. Not sure what it is about hearts, but I just can't help myself. I've got to take them!
I arrived here at the shelter after having been wounded while living on the streets. Let me tell you. It's a rough life out there in the big, bad city! A good Samaritan found me and took me in, but I wasn't a big fan of her dogs and cats so I couldn't stay. Besides, I was injured pretty bad and needed medical care. Luckily, the great folks at MaxFund took me in and fixed me right up. I wish I had a way to pay them back for all of my medical bills, but they said it's A-OK and that I should just focus on finding a home and a family of my own. I have FIV, which means that I can't live with other cats that are not FIV+. Otherwise, it's really no big deal and certainly not something that has to impact our life together much at all. Besides, I'm stealing your heart as you read this, so you'll just have to look past it!
I like to move fast and I spend lots of time on the go. I bet I'll be great at playing and running around in my new home. I'm also great at being petted and paid attention to. That's part of my heart-stealing strategy, you know. I'm cute and I'm playful and friendly to boot. I also get along with kids, so that's a plus too! Hurry down to the shelter and get to know me.
