Josie's Story...
My nave is Josie. I'm a loving 6 year old Lhasa Apso. My family can no longer keep me, so my grandma is looking for a new family who will love me forever! I'm great with kids, other dogs and cats, and love riding in the car. My only issue is I'm kind of "bossy" with my food. I might growl if a dog comes near it, but I am not aggressive. I was raised with a pit bull and we got along fine! I am 12 pounds of romping love, and play like a puppy, but because of my small size, my grandma would prefer a home with no small children. A loving couple or family with older children would be great!

Again, my name is Josie, but grandma calls me "Bunny" because I hop around like one! If you can give me that loving forever home, I would be so grateful. I still have plenty of years of love to give.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a Hillsboro Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Hillsboro, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Hillsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
