Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update 9-7-2013
Her name is Honey, and she is the most loving, intelligent, and gentle girl you will ever meet. She gets along great with other dogs, and is very patient and kind with all the kids (all ages) who play with her.
Some of her favorite things are running with the dogs in the back yard, long walks, playing fetch, and tug. I would say her most favorite thing is cuddling, and being loved.
Honey is house and crate trained already, knows how to sit, shake, and down. She is very smart and could learn so much more with training. She does well in the car, and likes car rides, but sometimes she gets an upset tummy but with more car rides to fun places that should go away. She is a high jumper, so she needs a high fenced yard. She does like to try to run out the door, but with some training she can learn not to do that and she'd be happy to do so with an attitude like she has...what a pleaser!!
Every day when she looks at me with her big brown eyes, she lets me know how grateful she is for being here, but I know she is ready to have her own forever family!!
Just a few minutes with her, and I know you will want to make her part of your family. Please apply if you think you are the right match for her.
Even with her current heart worms she is very active and she will be treated soon and once again be healthy as can be. Another tragic result of owners not doing their job. If you'd like to donate to her treatment please visit this site and help us out...the treatment for every dog we take in who has heart worms far outweighs the adoption fee we get, so any amount helps!
Thanks for looking!

End 9-7-2013 Update
Honey is very gentle and sweet. She loves kids and allows them to handle her pups and sit with her while she feeds the pups. She gets along with the other dogs when she is away from her pups so all the dogs know she is a mom and stay away from the room where the pups are staying.

Weight: 60 lbs.

She has some ways to go before being ready for adoption. We will spay her and treat her for heartworm. When she is ready she will be a wonderful companion for some lucky family.
