My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gretel was rescued by Forte as time was running out for her at the pound. She had 24 hours left and so narrowly escaped death. A dog trainer fell in love with her at the pound and asked us to help and we are so happy that we did! We feel that she came from a home where she was well looked after, and it seemed that her family lost a home and she ended up in the pound.

Gretel is a very special soul. She is soft, gentle and incredibly affectionate. She did not do well at a cagefree boarding, but she did live with another dog. She needs a home that can give her lots of love and belly rubs! She is smart and incredibly loyal. She will quietly sit with you while you read on a couch or just relax by the fireplace. She will watch over you like a guardian angel. She is perfectly leash-trained and will walk gently by your side on your daily walks. You will have a best friend for life if you are lucky enough to adopt Gretel and you will be smothered with love everyday.

If you are interested in meeting Gretel, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our Saturday Adoptions at Centinela Feed.

[Gretel is about 4 years old and 62 lbs.]
