Bio Update 9/24/13 : Rosie wanted me to update her photo. The black fungus that was on her hairless ears & tail is now gone & her pretty fur is growing back. She is 8 yrs. old & about 5 lbs now. She is looking for an adult home that has lots of time to spend with her. Her house training is going good she doesn't ask to go out but will do her business outside if taken out on a regular basis. She is still very shy buts loves to be held & petted & enjoys a good belly rub. Rosie is a very sweet quiet girl.
Bio Update 9/3/13: I thought I should update Miss Rose. She is doing well recovered from her spay & dental. She is slowly coming out of her shell. She discovered squirrels this week. I'm not really sure what she thought of him but she watched him very intensely. Not sure if she thought he came to play or if she thought he was an intruder in the back yard. She is starting to enjoy human contact. She loves to be petted & even gave me one tiny kiss the other day. She is working hard on her house training. She will not tell you if she needs to go out but will go when you take her out. She is not sure about children. I don't think she dislikes them but seemed terrified when my 10 yr old grandson held her. He was very gentle but she seemed frozen & had a look of fear in her eyes. I am looking to find her an all adult home preferably some one retired that has lots of quality time just for Rose. She is going to need lots of love, time, & patience. She previously had a broken leg that wasn't taken care of & it healed a little crooked & due to her small size she will need a home with no children.
Bio Update 7/30/13: Hi! Everybody!! It's Moonlight Rose, I wanted to show everyone my 1st ever dress my Foster Mom made for me. I feel like a real Princess now. Before I was rescued I was like Cinderella. Living in a dirty cage & producing litter after litter of puppies so my owner could take them away & sell them for her greedy profits. Now I am Princess Moonlight Rose I have soft beds & warm blankets & lots of yummy food & treats.I am 8 years young & I weigh 4.4 lbs. I love to snuggle on your lap & get hugs & kisses .I have an appointment on August 6th to be spayed & have my dental. If you are needing your very own Princess please fill out an application or you can email my foster mom & she can tell you how wonderful I am. I would love to have a home with someone who is home most of the time & has lots of time for me. It would be best for me to have an adult home. No small children due to her tiny size. Initial Bio 7/24/13: Moonlight Rose is a breeder release. She is 8 yrs old and weighs 4.4 lbs. She has spent her entire life in a little cage producing litter after litter of puppies for her breeder’s profit. She is a sweet little girl and is good with other dogs. A little shy but she loves to sit on your lap. Rose seems a little confused by all of the freedom, but I think she is beginning to like not living in a little cage. Rose loves to run around the yard. As soon as we can get a better picture and we know a little more about her, we will update everyone.
