My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lady is a beautiful poodle who was previously posted in March, and was then adopted. Unfortunately, her adopter has some health issues and was unable to care for Lady, and so sweet Lady was returned to her small rescue.

Lady may be crossposted!

Name: Lady
Breed: Poodle
Age: 7 years
Sex: Female (confirmed spayed)
Location: Little Rock, AR area

Vet Info: Lady is confirmed spayed. On 3/15/13 Lady was given a steroid injection and antiobiotics for her ears. She is utd on rabies, bordetella and Da2pp, next vaccines are due 3/1/14. She is confirmed heartworm negative. Lady weighs 13 pounds.

Owner Info: Unfortunately, Lady's adopter has a health issue that interfered with her ability to care for Lady, and Lady was returned to her rescue. Lady is a beautiful and friendly little purebred poodle who is great with other dogs. Lady was left at her home when her rural Arkansas family moved away. She was saved by a small rescue, but her rescue has limited experience with visually impaired dogs and their demographic leaves a special needs dog limited opportunity for adoption. Lady is an indoor dog with run of the house, she is housebroken and leash trained. Lady is good with other dogs and both men and women, but she is somewhat nervous, and a home without smaller children would be best for her as children frighten her. From what we understand, the home where she was found abandoned was full of small children. Lady has cloudy eyes with limited distance vision. She can see right in front of her but sudden movements frighten her. Her caregiver says that she is healthy, that she's very sweet and friendly, and a wonderful lap dog!
