Sherlock's Story...
Hiya! My name is Sherlock! I'm an stout but respectable little man who was found wandering lost around Green Bay, WI, in July, 2013. I have a secret to share, but please don't tell anyone: I'm really a cuddly lap dog at heart! The truth is, I loooove being around people and cuddling! I love this more than squeaky toys and going for walks! My best dog friend, Aero, and I enjoy hanging out together in the sunshine all day long! If you're looking for a new friend who's as sweet as pie, then you need not look any further than me! Please stop by HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center to meet me soon! Hugs, Sherlock **PS: You may recognize me as "AC226" from Packerland Veterinary Center's Green Bay Lost Pets website!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherlock, a Green Bay Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
