Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Colt is now ready for his forever home! Sweet Colt was picked as a stray. He is a small 18 lbs., 3 yrs old, potty trained, walks well on leash and heartworm negative. Loves to play catch with tennis ball and knows to bring back and drop it.
Colt has recovered from loosing his male parts and his dual cherry eyes removal. Dried and itchy skin improving on no grain kibble with a teaspoon of canola oil. On heartworm prevention and up to date on shots. Has a bit of a limp, probably from an old injury, that becomes more noticeable the more he exercises.
Colt is fearful toward other dogs, specially big ones! Does not attack, just growls and barks. Wants to be part of the pack and play with others but doesn't quite trust. Colt also goes into passive "belly up" mode at any command or raised voice from humans. It is obvious by his demeanor that he has had a rough time but that he was very loved at one time.
Colt would probably be best as an only dog with a family who can show him the love he needs to fully trust other dogs again.
