Goldie's Story...
"Howdy, folks! My name is GOLDIE, and I'm the happiest girl this side of the Mississippi! I'm a Spaniel-mix who's about a year-and-a-half, and my goal in life is to brighten your day. I'm just the right size to be the perfect house dog, too. I'm a smart gal who knows how to sit on command, and I bet I can catch on fast to just about anything you want to teach me. The shelter staff isn't sure yet if I've been house trained, but I'm ready and willing to learn. I get along nicely with other dogs, and i'd probably do best in a family without little kids. I love to go for walks, and I love to be close to people. I promise to be your best friend and loyal companion forever, so please come visit me soon so we can start our new life together. I'll be waiting for you here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. We have lovely play yards where we can hang out and get better acquainted. Just ask our helpful staff! See you soon! Love, Goldie" Kennel #28

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goldie, a El Cajon Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
