Taz's Story...
Taz is one of four siblings that were abandoned at a high kill facility when he was only 6 weeks old. They all were underweight and unhealthy. They were at risk of being put down, but they were rescued. All of his other siblings have been adopted. He was the runt and needed a little extra time to gain weight.

Taz is fully vetted, healthy, and ready to join his forever family! Taz is crate trained. He will sleep all night long and will not mess in his crate. He is mostly potted trained when outside his kennel. He is still learning on how to give you a true sign he needs out.

Taz loves to play, but is extremely laid back at the same time. He loves to snuggle when it comes down to the end of the night. He has been out in public with large crowds and has been complimented on how chill he is. He is leashed trained and loves to go for walks but at soon as you turn to go home he is in full sprint to be back. He is in a foster home with 3 other dogs and 2 cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taz, a Jackson Labrador Retriever/Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Collie for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Collie puppy from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
