My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am Aztec, handsome, affectionate, and really easy to live with. But no one adopted me from the shelter that saved me when I was wandering alone with my family gone. The staff believed in me and when I "ran out of time" they kept me safe to wait a little longer for my new family. We thought they would come for sure!

But even my popularity couldn't keep me safe there forever.
So now I'm here at the sanctuary with a lot of other homeless Huskies to play with! And I tell everyone, never stop hoping!

I like other dogs and hope for a dog pal to talk to and play with. I like people even more and will be most comfortable with older kids or just adults -- I worry when someone grabs my neck, but little kids don't know that. I hated wearing a collar and leash. My friends at the shelter helped me work through that and I'm better now, but I'm happier wearing a harness for walks.

For a young Husky, I'm mellow. And alert! I know there's plenty to learn and I pay attention!

I'm neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and my heartworm test is negative. I'm house trained, too! My adoption fee is $150.00.
