Baby's Story...
Meet Baby. Baby is a 13 lb rat terrier who gets along well with other dogs. We are guessing her to be about 3 years old. She has a spay scar and has had her vaccinations.

Here is what her Volunteer Home has to say about her: I don't have cats, so I don't know if she likes cats. She is housebroken, knows "sit" & "beg", and is smart- she can figure out how to get what she wants. The only time I've heard her bark is when she sees a strange car, but she whimpers when she's unhappy (like when I put her in her kennel). And I think she likes to roam, so a fenced yard would probably be best or at least a watchful adopter. She's not much of a cuddler, it's OK with her for a little while, and then she wants to go lay down by herself. She also likes to climb up on things, like tables and desks, although I try to discourage that. And she seems to be timid of new people. She really is a wonderful little girl & would make someone a wonderful companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby, a Prole Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Prole, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Prole.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prole already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prole breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Prole paves the way for another one to be saved.
