Neville's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Neville's Story...
Neville's adoption fee is $375.

Meet Neville, the 1-2 year old, 20lb Shih Tzu/Terrier mix. When he came into rescue he was a little overweight, but now is almost at a healthy weight. He has been neutered, brought up to date on vaccines and is micro chipped. Neville is house trained and does well when left at home. He is a little nervous of new situations, but this young guy is learning well and his confidence is growing. He is a bit uncertain when meeting dogs, and would be best kept on a leash until he gets to know them. Neville would be happiest in an adult only home.

His absolutely favourite thing is to play tug-of-war, and he loves to be goofy and play around. He is a little bit of a talker, so a detached house would probably be best for him. He is always up for cuddles and scratches and he also several commands (sit, lay down and give paw).

If you think this handsome playful fellow is the companion that you have been looking for we’d love to hear from you

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Neville, a Toronto Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
