My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NEW PHOTOS!!! Kino is a handsome larger, adult male Mini American Eskimo Dog. He is the sweetest dog, very affectionate and a cooperative boy. Kino will greet you immediately with a wagging tail and soulful eyes. He likes to run around in a fenced yard, likes to play ball/fetch, likes to go for walks, and likes to ride in the car too. Kino behaves for a bath, and is much better about brushing now that his somewhat matted undercoat has been brushed and shed out. Kino is fine with other dogs, but Kino will chase the cat, so cats are not recommended. Kino is smart and picks things up fast! We are starting with basic commands, SIT, DOWN, COME....and PAW! Kino is crate trained, very treat motivated, and a fairly quiet Eskie. Kino's experience with small, young children is unknown; Kino was quite food protective when he first came to rescue, this is now resolved, but for these reasons, we do not recommend him for families with children under 13 yrs old.
