Mariah was found in the median of I-74 on Christmas Eve and brought to us by a good Samaritan. She is a young dog, born in 2011. She is very people oriented and affectionate. She is very active and playful. She needs to be the only pet in the house.
We are a 501c(3) no-kill animal sanctuary established in 1943. We currently have about 145 cats & kittens and 120 dogs. Because we are no-kill, many of our animals are seniors.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are opened to look at animals on Saturdays from 11-3 pm, or through the week by appointment. HFA is closed on Sundays and Holidays.
Our Adoption Process...
Application available on friendlessanimals.com. Adoption fee is $125 (includes spay/neuter, vaccines up to date, appropriate tests, etc). A contract is required when adopting and we always take our animals back if the adoption does not work out.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
