Lynette's Story...
This precious little girl and her 2 pups (Levi and Lucas) were rescued from a kill shelter. Lynette is a very sweet, 1&1/2 yr old girl who was a great Mom to her pups and has such a nuturing temperment that she even loves the cats in her foster home and cuddles up with them. She is just a jewel of a little dog with her delightful personality and she is housetrained to the doggie door or will use pee pads if need be. She is truly an "easy keeper" and will bring a lot of joy to any family that gives her a chance. She is spayed and up to date on all vetting and ready to travel. For more info and /or to fill out an application on Lynette, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lynette, a Washington Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Washington, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
