Peanut Butter's Story...
Peanut Butter and her sister, Jelly, were found wandering in the middle of the street. At the time, they were very dirty, hungry, and scared, but they have perked up considerably after some baths and good meals. They are two females, about 5 years old. They are both very calm dogs, about 10 pounds each. They are some of the sweetest dogs we have ever met. They LOVE being held and cuddling on laps. They are very comfortable with each other and get along well, which makes us think they may be related or grew up together at the very least.
We've nicknamed them Peanut Butter and Jelly. Peanut Butter is the ham: She's bigger and more aggressive in seeking attention. We think she's the younger of the two. Jelly is a little more timid, except on walks where she leads the way. Both are well behaved.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut Butter, a North Hollywood Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in North Hollywood, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in North Hollywood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Hollywood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Hollywood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Hollywood paves the way for another one to be saved.
