My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jean is such a loving girl. (I, her foster) was helping a senior woman in Linden with a friendly bunch of 8 month old kittens outside her home. She had cared for these cats and socialized them well. As I was helping, Animal Control came by and grabbed one of the cats off the property. When I spoke to them, they claimed they had to "show something" to their boss. He proceeded to tell me how wonderfully friendly this girl was. I told him to please hold her and I ran to get her. It was 2 days prior to her euthanasia date. Sadly animals taken to animal control are not taken to a shelter, they are taken to cold steel cages and held until Saturday when they end up crossing the rainbow bridge. No bed, no good food, no love . It's a very sad place. I am so thankful I went immediately to get her and she had a pal, Crystal (adopted). I took her too. They were the only ones there.

We took Jean to get spayed, she already was done. So sadly this girl was dumped by someone who took care of her for a little while of her life. She was then updated on shots, wormed and given a test to determine negative for FIV/FELV.

Jean is extremely social. Loves to call to you and follow you around. She is ok with other animals. But she'd much rather be the one with all the attention. She has no problem letting the others know she wants attention to herself. She will push them away to get it. But she never harms anyone while doing so. She just weasels her way in. Jean is alway sitting by me on the couch and will put her 2 front paws on my lap for head rubs. She loves to play too.

Jean is thought to be about 3 to 4 years old max.

She truly is a sweet girl, one who craves attention and loves to give kisses in return.
