FAIRFIELD's Story...
~ ADOPTION PENDING ~

You may meet and apply to adopt Fairfield at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, AUGUST 31st from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Fairfield is a male Havanese mix puppy only 4 months old. He weighs 8 pounds and has a curly/wavy tricolor coat that is non-shedding. Fairfield is a round, cuddly little baby. He adores being snuggled and loved. He enjoys gentle play and can be quite entertaining when he is feeling frisky. Fairfield will wave his two front paws in the air at you to let you know he wants to play. If you join in, he will run silly circles around you, dragging a toy along if there is one handy. Fairfield is very gentle and submissive. He was brought in stray and traumatized to a high kill shelter and is therefore frightened easily by loud noises or sudden movements (such as being grabbed). If you talk softly to him and rub him under the chin, he will wiggle right up to you at once. Fairfield is still a baby and needs a comforting, safe home where he can feel secure to blossom into the lovely young dog he is meant to be. Once Fairfield knows you, he is a funny little boy. He follows his people absolutely everywhere and is a slave to those he loves. He will be a very loyal little pet. Fairfield craves security and will do whatever he can to please you if you take good care of him. He is good with other dogs his size and will play silly doggie games if the play remains gentle. Fairfield is already very good with his potty training and appears to be quite a smart boy. He understands how to go potty out in the grass. He is still learning how to walk on leash and does best with a harness. Fairfield is a healthy young pup and looking for his safe forever home today!

Fairfield’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Fairfield is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Dorothy & Mike and is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FAIRFIELD, a Newport Beach Havanese puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Havanese puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
