Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dear Forever Pet Parent,
Tango, by one definition is a code word for the letter “T”, used in international radio communications. But the code phrase for this four year old mild mannered boy is simply a tuxedo wish come true love bug. I found Tango waltzing around my neighborhood two years ago like an “aristocat” in search of food, love, and affection and I couldn’t resist his charm.
Tango was fully vetted (he passed all blood test), micro-chipped; because he’s a keeper, and cared for indoors. Within a short time my handsome boy was adopted by a nice family; that loved him for two years. Recently, the family experienced hardship and loss that led them to move out of state leaving Tango without a stable home.
In preparation to acquire a forever home for Tango I had him fully vetted once more. Unlike the results of his first combo blood test Tango is now positive for the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus(FIV). I could not believe it, so I had him tested a second time. It hurts me to say that unbeknownst to me this beloved cat was attacked by another cat while under the care of his previous family.
What does this mean for Tango? Well, it does not have to mean a death sentence that’s for sure.Tango is a beautifully charmed cat that can live as long as any unaffected cat. He is a portrait of health that processes qualities of strength, perseverance, and yes, peace. He is non aggressive and ok with other cats.
Tango loves to watch the Cat sitter DVD and sitcoms Frasier, Seinfeld, and Leave it to Beaver. He also loves to have his coat brushed as he lies on your lap for his daily belly and chin rub. Don’t be surprised if he licks your hands return to demonstrate his absolute appreciation for your love. He is an exquisite cat that is more than ready to be a loyal and loving part of your family.
