Facts about Sodapop

  • Breed: Abyssinian
  • Color: Tan Or Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 15133182
  • Hair: Short
Sodapop is a sweet and beautifully marked brindle Abysisnian that was found nursing with his two siblings, under some shopping carts at Home Depot when he was about 10 weeks old. He was quite scared when found and came such a long way in such a short time that Sodapop got adopted out at about 4 mos of age, along with another kitty named Cami. Unfortunately, his adopter lost her job, and apartment, and was moving in with family/ she had to let Sodapop and Cami go. Cami found another forever family, but Sodapop is still awaiting his. He is still a little shy at first but warms up and is very loveable. He enjoys human attention. You can tell he has been hugged and kissed a lot, because he will hold very still for long periods of time for that kind of loving! He loves to be hugged and kissed, and break out into a loud "under his breath" kind of cute:) Soda pop also loves to play, and will engage with feather toys, etc...for as long as you can hold one:) He is a bit jumpy when he hears a noise, fast movements, or someone coming through the door at first, but will often bounce right back now. When he is sitting next to you giving his big boy love...none of that matters. SodaPop would do best as an only pet, he is an alpha cat.
....Sodapop comes FELV tested, vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped and with 30 days of free pet insurance. If you would like more information about meeting or adopting Soda pop, please email .

Our Adoption Process...

It is the policy of Cat A Do Cat Co-Op that all potential cat adopters complete the Cat/Kitten Adoption Consultation Form and complete an interview with an Adoption Coordinator in order to be considered as a forever home for our cats and kittens.

Cat A Do will determine the best home for each cat or kitten based on the application and interview process. After review of the adoption consultation form and the completion of the interview with the Adoption Coordinator, Cat A Do may recommend a different cat or kitten that is more suitable to your household.

Completion of the application and interview process does not guarantee an adoption approval or guarantee the adoption of a particular cat or kitten. Cat A Do is a privately run, non-profit organization and reserves the right to refuse any adoption that is not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, based on our principles, policies, and standards.

Please read the following instructions carefully.

1. Please fill out all pages of the Adoption Consultation Form as completely as possible. The submission of a complete form will expedite the review process.

2. Your completed adoption form may be emailed to us at and a Cat A Do Adoption Coordinator will contact you as soon as possible. You may also bring a completed form to Gilbert PetSmart at Val Vista and Guadalupe.
At Cat A Do Cat Co-Op, we believe there is a home for every animal and we work to find the best match!
