My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pics coming very soon!!!! Bunsen (if you remember Dr. Bunsen Honeydew from the Muppets it's where his name came from) is one smart, sweet, and silly boy. Only around five months old, he is just full of fun and games.

Bunsen was found at a shelter and, frankly, was too scared to even be picked up. But oh the change in him when he got to his foster home and found a yard and great dogs and people to play with. He is just a touch cautious when he meets new people, but that lasts for milliseconds and then he's got much more important things to do like love you and play with you.

Bunsen needs some leash work simply because he apparently doesn't know what one is, but he is a fast learner. He does well in a crate all night long without any accidents in it or in the house either, so he appears to be house-trained. Bunsen loves anything that has two or four legs too.

If you would like to meet and possibly adopt Bunsen please email us for the application.

All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.

Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed, de-flea'd, is up to date on shots, is spayed/neutered, microchipped, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a leash & collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
