My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Huggy Bear is a 5 year old fox hound mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter in Kentucky. He is moderately active and very affectionate!! He follows his commands and aims to please. He is great with other dogs. Huggy Bear DOES NOT like cats!!! He loves to run, go for walks, go for car rides and just play. Huggy Bear had a great sense of humor and will let you put silly hats on him. His forever home would require a fenced yard and no childen. Huggy Bear is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations as well as house and crate trained. Huggy Bear has been searching for his forever family for some time now.

All the dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s)and cat(s). We do require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hr of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. Come meet all the dogs of the Make A Difference Rescue at the Troy Petco on Coolidge and 15 Mile Rd every Sunday 12-4:30pm. Our adoption fee is $275.
