Estes's Story...
Well, hiya! My name is Estes and I'm pleased to meet you. Yup, Estes, like Estes Park, CO. That's where I come from you see. I'm a lovely guy with beauty, brains and a heart to match. What a find I am! You may have lucked out and just found the perfect addition to your family.

I was found living in Estes Park and was taken in up there by a nice person who wanted to give me a better life. Sadly, it turned out that I had cancer in my paw and the person that took me in could not afford the medical care that I needed. Thank the universe for MaxFund, who took me in and has helped me with surgery and recuperation. All they ask in return is that some nice family give me a forever home. Could that be you? The person that was helping me says that I get along just fine with all walks of life - adults, kids, cats and dogs. I'm laid back and really just want to be loved.

Due to the cancer, which is gone now, I had to have part of my paw amputated, which was a big bummer, but nothing that I haven't already gotten over. I am big and strong and ready to live the rest of my long, happy life with you. Hurry up on get on over here to invite me into your life. I'm waiting patiently...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Estes, a Denver Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
