My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shorty is cheerful, because he knows he’s uncommon. He’s a Pembroke Welsh Corgi mix – very unusual to find at a rescue – and a breed that has been beloved by the British royal family for almost a century.

This 2 year-old is sturdy but low to the ground, so don’t expect him to jump up onto your furniture. He probably wouldn’t anyway, because he’s an obedient boy who doesn’t want to cause a ruckus. As a member of a very clever breed, he’ll be quick to learn your rules.

Shorty’s ideal owner will let him follow everywhere. He’d love to have a family of children to herd and a yard where he can scamper and play chase. If you want to know why Queen Elizabeth prefers these dogs above all others, stop by the adoption center to meet him!
