Zeus's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Zeus's Story...
Sweet, sweet Zeus needs a forever home. This awesome guy came from a high kill shelter needing very expensive surgery. Zeus had TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery on his right rear leg with one of the best surgeons around. Now he has recovered and is looking for his forever family. Zeus is housebroken, loves kids, does great with other dogs and cats too. He likes to go on car rides, though occasionally will try to drive. He walks well on leash but does prefer to do his business off leash, so a fenced yard would be ideal for him. He loves being with his people and is extremely well-behaved and mellow. Zeus is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and current on heartworm and flea prevention. He is being fostered near Huntsville, AL. If you are interested in more information on how to adopt this big boy, email us at info@FOR rescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a Marietta Old English Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Old English Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Old English Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Old English Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Old English Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
