My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Pending !!!!!!!! Looking for a dog that's peachy-keen? You found her! Meet Melba, a puppy who's as sweet as peach melba, the dessert she's named for! Melba
is a smooshy, squishy, super cuddly 4-month old girl . The person who surrendered her owned the mom , a pure bred boxer, and she believed dad was a Bullmastiff who lived down the street . With both Bullmastiff and Boxer in her mix, she should grow to be a wonderful family companion. Melba gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids and is working on all of her puppy training. She came from
an overcrowded shelter and was lucky enough to find a place in our rescue. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, wouldn't you like to adopt a pup that will always be thankful for a new life in a loving home? Melba is new to our group and we will post more info as we get to know her. If you think you can give Melba a lifetime of love, gentle guidance and care, please contact their Foster Mom, Jennifer, at (630) 851-9909 or animalheartline@hotmail.com. We are a very small group of caring volunteers and home visits are mandatory for all of our adoptions, so please, local adoptions only (within 50 miles of Naperville/Chicago)! WE WILL NOT DO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS. No exceptions please. Thank you!
