UPDATE 5/18 Beau was adopted by an older couple. We hoped it would be a match
(Instead of teaching him what is right and wrong they too took the easy way out and dumped him back into the shelter) made in heaven. unfortunately there were chickens next door and Beau took too much interest in them. They also thought he would do best in a cat-free home but any dog experienced person can very easily teach a dog of any age what is a go and what's not
the problem is people often don't want to put any effort at all into a newly adopted dog
Beau’s family moved and were devastated that they could not take this very sweet older dog with them. We are equally upset since few things are as heartbreaking as a dog who spends their life as a family member only to find themselves homeless when they most need care. Please help us to find this wonderful dog a new home! Though he is older (so his adoption fee is greatly discounted), Beau has many years left to bring happiness and love to those around him. This sweet dog is so easy; well behaved, mellow, smart and affectionate. You won’t find an easier or more grateful addition to your family. Let’s prove to Beau that we humans really are good and trustworthy!
