PADEN (from Silverado)'s Story...
WHATEVER, DUDE!! Paden is one of THE most laid back, easygoing dogs we've ever had. Although he is part Lab, he didn't get the "crazy" part. He will play and run and chase squirrels, but comes inside and just chills out. Calm and sweet with other dogs, humans, and butterflies.

One of the pictures shows Paden's condition when we rescued him from the shelter. It is amazing what medicine, nutrition and love can do. Amazingly, Paden has been the most loving and the sweetest dog in the world.

Paden is probably 14-18 months of age and weighs under 50 pounds. He is VERY CALM and while he is playful, he is content to lie quietly and watch Burn Notice with me! Paden is learning what toys are and he loves playing with Bijou and Jolene, who are also on the website. Paden is a quiet boy that rarely barks - unless he is squirrel hunting or gopher hunting. He is gentle, sweet, obedient and loving. Paden is housetrained but not too keen on a crate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PADEN (from Silverado), a Carrollton Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
