My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is BamBam! I am an older miniature Schnauzer who is available for adoption through Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati. My former owners moved and could not take me with them, so they asked SRC to help find me a new home.

As I said, I’m an older guy, about 12 years old, but don’t let that fool you. My foster mom says I’m pretty spunky. I love playing with toys and I love going on walks. I am a huge cuddlebug and love to lay next to my foster mom and dad on the couch when they’re watching TV.

I have three foster siblings, all Schnauzer and Schnauzer mixes and I get along well with them. I’m pretty quiet until I see a cat or I see my foster siblings getting excited. The neighbors that live next to my foster home have two cats. There is a fence that separates us, but I really like to bark at them to let them know I see them. Too bad one cat is deaf…he can’t even hear me saying hi!

I haven’t been around little kids in my foster home, so I’m not sure how I feel about them. Just like any older fellow, I am pretty set in my ways, so I’m sure I would be ok with older kids who can respect my space. I might get nervous around little kids.

While I know that I’m no spring chicken, I hope someone will give me a chance to show them how much love I can bring to their home and family.

I am being fostered in Cincinnati, OH, by Justin and Jessica. My adoption fee is only $225.
