Mrs. Potts's Story...
Meet Mrs Potts!

This dainty little lady made her way to us recently along with her tiny family, after a kind rescuer observed them being tossed from a passing vehicle like trash. He immediately went into action, saving them from a horrific fate that likely awaited them.

In the shelter, Mrs Potts has shown herself to be loving and nurturing- the quintessential momma cat! Thanks to her devotion, along with the extra TLC provided by MHS, her babies were all blessed to have gone on to find their happily ever afters. But as is the case with most mommas, Mrs Potts now remains...patiently waiting her turn.

She would love a home where the attention can be centered on her, enjoying the creature comforts given to one who is completely pampered and spoiled. Considering all her tireless efforts in keeping her tiny brood alive and thriving, it's only fitting that Mrs Potts now gets to enjoy 'the good life.'

This 2 year old is the perfect mix for a family cat- she's sweet and loving, and has a playful spirit that goes for miles!

Consider meeting with her today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mrs. Potts, a Muskegon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
