Tara's Story...
Tara is a cute little gal with a huge heart! She captured her foster parents hearts in no time. Here are some comments from her fosters: "Tara is a total lap dog! She loves nothing more than sitting on your lap and looking into your eyes with love! She is just starting to show an interest in toys. She has started taking long walks with her foster siblings, which she loves. We went on a desert hike yesterday and she had a blast She loves to sit in the sun with her BFF!. I still haven't heard her bark! She goes into her crate with no problem. She is such a cutie!"

Tara is looking for a loving home with a family that enjoys lots of cuddle time. Another canine friend for her snuggle with and/or sun bathe with are ideal for our little sweetheart! Of course daily walks are a must for our active gal. So if you are looking for a little angel with a heart full of love, look no further. Please fill out an application for her today -

Tara weighed 4.4 pounds when we saved her from the kill list.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tara, a Phoenix Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
