Ryleigh's Story...
We'd like you to meet Ryleigh. This little girl was dumped on the side of the road in a trash bag. Needless to say she is a little shy at first and takes time to warm up to people and prefers women. She is good with other dogs. She is about 7 months old and appears to be a Cattle dog mix. Ryleigh is about 35 lbs. She is spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative and current on heartworm and flea prevention. She is being fostered near Huntsville, AL. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl the home she so deserves, please email us at info@FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ryleigh, a Nashville Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
