Diva's Story...
Diva is a sweet senior pooch. She is currently being treated for a flea
allergy, and a ear infection. She has bad knees, 1 small shrunken eye and a benign tumor on her left chest, which doesn't seems to bother her. Rescued from a high kill shelter, her tiny face warmed the heart of our rescue coordinator who arranged for her to be transported to Austin. Itsy bitsy Diva will cuddle up with you or on a nice soft pillow. She wants to always know where you are and will follow
you from room to room. She is very interested in what is going on
around her except during nap time. She is potty trained and will go in
and out of a dog door. She gets along with other dogs except when they
are in her face then she will let out a little growl and little bark
and that is all.. Divas need their space…. She does well with a calm
environment. Diva just wants someone to love her and take care of
her but most importantly keep her looking as Diva as possible. Apply through www.PugRescueAustin.com/adopt

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diva, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
