Huckleberry Finn's Story...
Hey there...Huck here! Let me tell you my life story....well part of it anyway. The family I though loved me took me for a ride, but not a good ride. They took me and left me at a very high kill shelter in rural West TN. I'm not sure why they did that because I am a really good puppy and I'm not even 8 months old yet! I like everyone...kids, cats and dogs. I love to give kisses and I do a really cute whine when you rub my belly...my foster mom loves that - gets her every time! People say that I am quite "unique" looking and I'd have to agree that I am pretty darn cute! I would love to come add some fun to your house but only if you promise it's forever

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huckleberry Finn, a Wytheville Basset Hound/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Beagle for sale in Wytheville, or seeking a Basset Hound/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Wytheville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wytheville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wytheville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Beagle breeders who help with Basset Hound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wytheville paves the way for another one to be saved.
