Rambo's Story...
Age: 2 Dogs: Some Kids: Some Cats: Unknown
Let’s get ready to Rambo! This young guy is ready to learn all he can from an experienced owner. He has not had a lot of exposure to the excitement of life in the fast lane and needs a guiding hand. Rambo seems to prefer woman and can show fear of certain men. He just needs the right men in his life who will take it slow. He is insecure around other dogs and with practice and a patient positive leader he will gain social skills. A friend like a calm balanced female would be a good place to start. Rambo now pack walks with others at BRLA and is on his way to being a great Boxer in the right home. Rambo has it in him; he just needs the right person to help bring it out of him.

Please visit our main website at www.boxer-rescue-la.com for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rambo, a Encino Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
