Little Teddy's Story...

As of 15 October 2011, our new website is collieandsheltierescue.com

My name is Little Teddy I am 3 years old, potty trained and up to date on my shots. I love dogs, and cats are just fine with me. I am looking for a family that loves to go for walks and teaching me tricks.  It takes me some time to warm up but with a little time and a few treats I will be your new best friend. I am small, only 20 lbs and need to slim down to 16 lbs but that is not a problem. If you are interested please put in a application so we can visit. I am ready to go home.

To adopt you must live in the Tidewater area, we do not adopt out of state or 1.5 hours from the 23518 zip code.

Go to our new website listed in the header above to download an application request for this dog, and to view our adoption contract.

About Collie and Sheltie Rescue of Southeast Virginia

About Our Rescue Group...

The Collie and Sheltie Rescue Association of Southeast Virginia is a 501(c)3 not for profit group dedicated to finding loving homes for collies and shelties who, through no fault of their own, have found themselves lost, homeless, abdondoned and/or neglected. All of our dogs are fostered with volunteer families as one of their own until they find their family. The Rescue sees to and pays for all medical needs of the dogs before they are adopted. The foster families also assess temperments and work with their foster dogs on any behavioral/training issues. We love and know the collie and sheltie breeds - their personalities, grooming needs and health concerns.
