My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE NOTE THAT BREED, AGE, AND SIZE AT MATURITY ARE ONLY GUESSES! We are a rescue, and we have never seen mom or dad!

Meet Olivia, born around June 20th and weighing 3.59 pounds as of 8-15, we believe she will grow to be a small dog as an adult based on her current age and weight, but again that is just a guess. Olivia arrived into the rescue with her siblings, Alexis, Elvis and Spencer from Missouri on July 27th. The pups are now old enough to be adopted, and anyone lucky enough to bring any of these very sweet pups home, will certainly have a lifetime of joy...they are that sweet!

These pups love to be held, and are already lap babies! Her hair looks wirey, but in fact it's very soft, just like her personality. Given the age they are obviously not housetrained, nor crate trained. If you work full time and are gone all day, a 3-4 pound puppy is not the right match for you. These puppies are too young and too small to be left in a cage all day.

Olivia is being fostered in a Naperville area home with her siblings around other dogs, cats, and older children and she is just wonderful with them all. She has had several play dates with younger children in the area, and she was wonderful with all of them younger children. In our opinion these pups will make wonderful family pets, and are fabulous with children. We don't worry about the puppy, but we do worry about younger children dropping the pup, poking eyes, etc.

If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, it's in your best interest to submit an application immediately. Emails will slow down the process, and while you are awaiting an email response, we may get applications if we already haven't received any. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but gives you a head start with the adoption approval process. We do not schedule meet and greets until the application is approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. We are all volunteers and work as quickly as possible between jobs and friends, and we thank you in advance for your patience.

The foster home in Naperville is where you would go to meet this pooch with an approved application. You can find the canine adoption application at our website at www.angelsonwheels.org under the adoptions tab of the website.

The adoption fee of $300.00 and includes: The spaying/neutering when old enough, microchip, up-to-date on routine vaccination for distemper-adenovirus-parainfluenze-parvo, rabies vaccinated if over 4 months, heartworm tested if over 9 months, dewormed with panacur, treated with either revolution or front-line plus, along with any other medical needs. Thank you for looking at our rescued animals!
