Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Betty Age: 2 Dogs: Most
Gender: Female Kids: Calm Older Cats: Unknown
Betty was on the lamb; she evaded capture and was living on her own. Many people tried to gain her trust to get her to help, but Betty was not getting close to anyone. Finally she was contained and BRLA agreed to help. Betty was understandably terrified at first. Our amazing kennel workers were her first friends and they planted the seed of trust. Now Betty comes out for walks with BRLA volunteers and is enjoying more interaction and starting to smile. She is still pretty timid and will need a gentle home with gentle people. She is fine around other dogs at BRLA and good on a leash now that she enjoys going for walks. Betty is a big sturdy Boxer, possibly Labrador mix. Affectionately known as Boxadore-Retrievers , Betty has the DNA to be both loyal and comical. Come meet Miss Betty Boop and be her gentle guide to a wonderful new life and get that tail of her un-tucked and flying high and happy!
