My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Romeo is a gorgeous 2 year old merle male with natural ears. He had rough start in life, bouncing from home to home before ending up at a shelter, and now he just wants relatively calm, stable home where he can be the Velcro Dane he was meant to be. Romeo was adopted to a city home, but came back after barking during the day and disturbing the neighbors. Romeo is a gem of a dog. Probably the most well behaved, well mannered foster I've ever had. He is friendly with our large dogs but prefers not to have another dog jumping on him or all up in his face. He prefers our older pitt mix who is more laid back and has a similar play style. He adores his crate which he will go to on his own to nap or get some space. He will intentionally shut himself into different rooms by hitting the door with his paw. We call it "Romeo's quiet time." He also loves draping curtains over his head and eyes to play "Where's Romeo?" He's well trained, he will sit, paw and lay down. He seems to have trouble seeing far distances and will bark at a bush far off in the distance thinking its a person. He will bark at noises outside if left out alone but will stop if corrected. Romeo walks well on a collar or gentle leader and loves to give kisses. He has no food aggression and takes treats gently. He will chase a cat if the cat runs but is fine with my dog savvy cats. He's an amazing dog!!
