A veterinarian always examines our cats before they are offered for adoption. All cats are tested for FIV/FeLV, given rabies and FCP vaccinations, treated for parasites as a matter of course, spayed or neutered and provided dental treatment if needed.

A very talented brown tabby young cat

My sister and I were rescued from from  a home with way too many cats. A lady let in a pregnant cat and within one year she had eleven cats and no way to help us. She was overwhelmed but at least she kept us inside. Most of the elder cats had to go into barn homes, but my sister and I chose to take the tame path.

I have even learned to run on the Bengal wheel.

I’m microchipped, neutered  tested and vaccinated – ready to go home with you!

We were founded in 2008 to find loving homes for cats, thus giving them a second chance at our shelter. We were the first shelter in Colorado Springs serving cats exclusively. We are proud to be a limited admission, adoption guaranteed shelter.

About lookwhatthecatbroughtin

About Our Shelter...

We are almost eight years old. In Colorado and maybe everywhere, cats have fewer chances at being adopted. We prefer that euthanasia only be used for extreme medical or behavioral or combined, where no quality of life is possible. We focus on cats with some medical needs, such as eye issues, dental issues or birth defects, although we welcome perfectly normal cats as well.

Adoption fee is $100, $150 if adopting two.
Reduced for barn cats.
