Buddy's Story...
This beautiful boy is Buddy a 1 1/2 yr old Golden Retriever/Lab cross. Buddy is very energetic, loves to play and would need a strong fenced yard. Buddy loves kids and other dogs, but doesn't get along with cats. He came into the shelter recently with Naya, another dog who is up for adoption. They don't need to be adopted together, but they do get along well if someone were looking for two dogs. Buddy is neutered and house-trained. He will need some obedience and leash training but he will learn quickly, he is a smart boy. Buddy will make a great family dog!

Adoption fee: $150.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Colville Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Colville, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
