Smilee's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Smilee's Story...
Smilee came to her foster home as a pregnant stray. She has had her babies and they have all found homes. Now it is Smilee's turn! Smilee is about 1.5 years old and weighs 18 lbs. (She is full figured and could probably stand to weigh a little less!) She has already been spayed, is current on her vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and on heartworm preventative. She would love to be a lap dog and is great with kids. She is housetrained and good with other dogs. She is a sweet girl that would make a great pet! (AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smilee, a Plainfield Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
