My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wonderful Maggie is as friendly and as good natured as they get. She loves all people, kids and dogs and has even been getting to know cats. Sweet and petite at 45 lbs, our super pretty American Staffie mix may have some Catahoula in her which could account for her beautiful soft and plushy coat. Since being rescued from the ACC several months ago Maggie has been obedience trained, is receiving lots of socialization and exercise. Wherever she goes, people are drawn to her. She makes immediate eye contact with complete strangers and has a warmth, openness and generosity of spirit that people just love! Even mothers with toddlers are not at all concerned when they see our friendly amber eye beauty walking down the block like an angel and sense her good nature. And Maggie is attracted to children as well, and has learned to calmly and respectfully greet everyone she meets. She LOVES other dogs, and now that she's 100% healthy, she is very well socialized and loves the dog run. We welcome homes that will give her plenty of opportunities to play with other dogs, in fact, if you already have dogs, Maggie would make a wonderful 2nd or 3rd dog. Like most young pittie mixes, Maggie has a lot of energy and loves going out for long stimulating walks around town. She would make a great jogging partner, as she runs right next to her companion and lets them set the speed. Inside, she is very well behaved and loves belly rubs and cuddling. She would be an excellent candidate for the AKC Good Citizen Award if you'd like to go trough the training with her. She's that good! Maggie is also housebroken, spayed, micro chipped, dewormed, up to date on all her shots.
