Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name’s Peggy. Did you ever see such an eager, yearning face? There’s a reason for my imploring look. Before I was saved by a caring volunteer, I lived chained. I had no shelter & sat in filth month after month, year after year. In scalding sun, snow & rain, I sat & hoped for a better life. I wasn’t fed regularly & my water bowl was filled with mold. My beautiful, soft coat was ravaged by fleas. Because I was chained & didn’t have a choice, I had litter after litter. The people took my babies away & killed them. That broke my heart. Thanks to the volunteers, I’ve been spayed. I’ve also been vaccinated, wormed & tested negative for heartworms & Lyme. The vet says I’m healthy. I am 3 years old & weigh 45 lbs. I’m an incredibly sweet, affectionate & good natured Terrier mix girl & I’m waiting for a home, a real family to call my own. I'm good with other dogs & also with cats. My foster family says I'm an easygoing doll. Can you open your heart to me & make my wish for a forever family come true? Hope so.
