Martin's Story...
Oh my goodness, am I just the most darling little thing you ever did see? I am a Pomeranian mix of some kind. When you meet me you are going to want to cuddle, hug and kiss me and that will be just fine with me! I’ll give you all that love right back. I have some history under my tiny little belt but unfortunately we don’t know exactly what it is. See I came to rescue as a stray and prior to what the good folks who saved me know there really is no record of my past. Am I housebroken? Who cares, I can learn if I’m not! Am I crate trained? Yes! I do ok with other dogs, but I do have a touch of that ‘little man syndrome’ but will prefer a home with very respectful children. So come on in, I would love to meet ya, ask for Martin! years old-14lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; neuter, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam (Se Portland/Milwaukie area),1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Martin, a Portland Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
