Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lady is a 3 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pit Bull mix. She was owned by a homeless man who wanted to give her away to a good home because she was pregnant and he didn't want the litter of pups to be born on the street. She was taken to a foster home and she had 9 pups. Lady was an excellent mom, very patient with the pups. She is now spayed, current on rabies and is heartworm negative. Although she didn’t come from a “home”, she does appear to be housetrained. She is good on a leash but does have a strong pull. However, she is wonderful off leash and loves to run but will always come when called. Lady knows her name very well. She is a VERY loving dog and just wants to be with people. It took her a day to warm up to her foster mom initially, but that may have been due to the fact she was pregnant and weary of strangers. Once she knows you she will love you for life. She is extremely loyal. She gets along with cats, dogs, horses and goats. No sign of aggression whatsoever towards any other animals. There are no children at her foster home but we assume she would be wonderful with them as well seeing as how patient she was with her pups and how non-aggressive she is towards other animals.
