BINDI's Story...
My name is Bindi and I am a very sweet and gentle little female Husky that has had a bad start to my life. You see, I'm just 6-7 months old and only weigh 19 lbs. I have spent my whole life on the end of a chain with very little food or attention. My ears are eaten up from the flies biting me, and of course I did not get enough food to help me grow big and strong. Some people told Animal Control about me and my owners gave me up. Some volunteers contacted my foster mom and I found myself in a nice home for the first time. I was given puppy food. It was so good but my tummy got sick and I threw it up. My foster mom is giving me vitamins to help me grow and be healthy. I walk on a leash. I'm very friendly because I have never had love before and found that I enjoy it. My foster mom gives treats when I talk to her. This has turned out to be a great day. I can't wait to see what a home of my own will be like. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Why Adoption is a Great Option

BINDI, a Salem Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Salem, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
