Gizmo's Story...
My story: Hi, I'm Gizmo and I'm not embarrassed to admit that I'm a momma's boy. I love to be with humans and I'm particularly fond of my foster mom. I even come when she calls and I miss her when she's not around. I'm also outgoing and curious - always ready to explore something new. My brother (Cosmo) and I were rescued together and we make a great team. We love to wrestle and chase things (pom-poms are my personal favorite) and we love to snuggle with our humans - purr, purr. It would be great if we could stay together but we'll be okay so long as we have someone to love and play with.
Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Yes | Good with Children: Yes

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gizmo, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
